Philip Kovce

Philip Kovce is Associated Research Fellow at the Chair of Economics and Philosophy at Witten/Herdecke University, Germany’s first private university. He is a member of tt30, the Club of Rome’s young leaders Think Tank, works for various German newspapers as well as broadcasters and published several books.

Philip studied Economics and Philosophy at Witten/Herdecke University and Humboldt University of Berlin. He is Alumnus of the German National Academic Foundation as well as the Berlin Studies Center. He is Co-Founder of fwd – First World Development, a Swiss-German Think Tank, and conducts research at the Basel Philosophicum. 2011 he was awarded the one-time Rudolf Steiner Prize for his study on ethics of speaking.

Philip works for various German newspapers as well as broadcasters – DIE ZEIT, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Deutschlandradio Kultur, SWR2 – and published the following books: Von Bologna nach Berlin und wieder zurück.
